Ready or Not?
"Recent surveys conducted by The Office for Government Public Affairs and distributed to state emergency management officials conclude Americans are not as prepared for potential emergencies as they were in previous generations and are resisting the attempts by authorities to ready themselves. Just last year, the greater church was called upon to respond to unprecedented hurricanes in the Gulf stretching resources, both human and material, beyond their ability. CEN cited story after story where the greater church responded in ways that were remarkable and God-honoring. Yet, 85% still say no disaster of any kind will happen near them...."
